The filter hose consists of an antistatic and electrically conductive polyester felt, produced as needle felt with internal polyester reinforcement. This manufacturing method allows for consistent and uniform air permeability, ensuring both good filter efficiency and high stability. The material is processed using thermofixation technology and a surface smoothing treatment to optimize cleaning. The operating temperature for continuous use is 130°C, with temperature spikes up to 150°C. The filter fabric is applied in situations where dust poses an explosion risk (anti-deflagration systems) or in areas (ATEX) where the high electrical conductivity (Rd<10 Ohms – tested according to Din 54345 regulations) allows for the removal of all electrical charges present on the fabric. The filter hose is suitable for fabric-required drying processes, in filters with compressed air cleaning, and mechanical shaking operations, particularly in the wood, food, plastics, gravel, mining, and cement industries.
